Jack's Costume:
I’ve decided to dress my model in dark blue denim jeans as they represent simplistic sophistication and connotes a casual and relaxed tone to initiate the house style of the magazine I’m creating. The dark colour scheme regarding the two garments the model is wearing allow for the potential to employ many colours onto the front cover whilst creating sell lines, cover lines and incentives etcetera. The jeans and t-shirt will appeal to the target audience of my magazine and entice them to reciprocate similar outfits which mirror current trends and fashions.
I’ve decided to further dress my model in a black Ralph Lauren t-shirt which will act as a promotion for Ralph Lauren products whilst axiomatically exemplifying the simplistic sophistication of the outfit. The jeans and the t-shirt combine to imply that less can be more when it comes to clothing; you don’t need to wear bright colours and lots of accessories to look captivating.
I’ve decided to complete my model’s look with a fabric-strap black watch to enhance the genre of formality, naturality and sophistication which will be incorporated into the entirety of the front cover, contents page and the copy within the magazine.
