The website of GQ Magazine reflects their printed editions. The tone is very masculine and they've dedicated a drop-down menu button to 'women' which suggests they are going to be viewed as sexual appeals and equally that the institution doesn't want to negate women from their website or magazines as it's common knowledge that GQ are extremely male-orientated and the magazine is used as a platform to promote the celebrations of successful men around the globe (this is axiomatic through the mention of celebrities such as Ralph Lauren and Johnny Depp), alike VOGUE and their female-orientated brand identity. The "Christmas markets" article is representative of the seasons and time of year and accentuates that websites are easily updateable. The newest edition of GQ magazine is featured in the top-left corner of the website and sits beside a promotion to get the magazines cheaper if you follow the link which states 'subscribe'. The colour scheme consists of primarily black and white which act as complimentary polar opposites creating a sophisticated and masculine persona for the magazine.
